Serbian government announces technical specifications defined for Serbia-Hungary oil pipeline

Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka 脨edovic Handanovic attended the signing of a document defining the technical specifications of the Serbia-Hungary oil pipeline, noting on the occasion that the pipeline is a strategic project with the full support of both countries at the highest level.

脨edovic Handanovic, together with Deputy State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Csaba Marosvári and Hungarian Ambassador to Serbia József Magyar, attended the signing of the document setting out the technical specifications of the pipeline between representatives of Serbia’s Transnafta and the Hungarian company MOL.

The planned capacity of the pipeline is up to 5 million tpy of crude oil, while its length on the Serbian side will be 113 km.

The Minister assessed that the pipeline will provide Serbia with a new route for crude oil supply.

The document was signed on behalf of Transnafta by acting Director Nataša Lecic and Executive Director for Investments Slaviša Gavrilovic and on behalf of MOL by MOL Group’s Vice President of Logistics Richard Milosovic.
